Tairoun Feed

Tairoun Products was established in March of the 58th year of the Republic of China, with a feed mill located in Luzhu District, Kaohsiung City, covering an area of over 10,000 ping (33,000 square meters). The company has a workforce of 150 employees and produces over 10,000 metric tons of feed.

In its early stages, Tai Rong Industry collaborated with "Japan Agricultural and Industrial Cooperative Society" to develop high-quality feeds tailored to the climate and livestock farming environment in Taiwan. The company's feed products cover six major categories, including swine, poultry (chicken and duck), eel, fish, and shrimp. Various feed formulations are produced based on different growth stages and breeds, with a diverse range of granule sizes and hardness levels. This variety allows customers to have multiple options, aiming to provide greater benefits for aquaculture and livestock farmers.

As a part of the feed industry, Tairoun Products is constantly engaged in the improvement of its products. From the procurement and storage of raw materials to the production and distribution processes, the company strictly manages and controls every aspect. The goal is to ensure that each type of feed can assist farmers in generating the highest possible profits.

Tairoun Fructose

Since 1988, our company has been involved in the corn starch industry. In 1989, we established the Yunlin Factory in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, to produce corn starch-derived products. In the initial stages, our main product was high fructose corn syrup produced through the processing of corn starch. Corn starch, through various enzymatic processes such as liquefaction, saccharification, isomerization, separation, and refinement in food biochemical technology, can be transformed into a variety of corn starch saccharification products. Currently, our company produces high fructose corn syrup, with different products distinguished based on the percentage of fructose in the syrup.

Due to fructose being a monosaccharide, it offers several health benefits to the human body, including easy absorption in the digestive system, reduced pancreatic burden, prevention of tooth decay, and promotion of metabolic system activation. This allows people to enjoy sweet treats while also considering dietary health.

Physically, the sweetness of fructose is equivalent to sucrose (table sugar), but in terms of the lingering sweetness sensation in the mouth, fructose tends to be milder and more refreshing. Fructose also possesses strong hygroscopicity, prevents drying, has excellent flavor retention, and is cost-effective in processing. As a result, it finds widespread applications in the food industry, including in refreshing beverages, fruit juices, snacks, pastry fillings, bread, cakes, canned fruits, ice cream, jellies, flavored milk, syrups, winemaking, puddings, coffee, soups, pickles, and liquid seasonings. In response to market expectations in 1999, a new production line was established using sugarcane as the raw material. This line is dedicated to the production of high-sucrose sugarcane liquid syrup.

Tairoun corn starch

In 1999, our starch factory officially commenced production, manufacturing high-quality edible corn starch, corn germ, corn bran, and other related products. This initiative aimed to provide the food and beverage industry with more diverse and higher-quality food ingredients.

Corn is the world's most produced and widely utilized grain, historically serving as an indispensable staple food for humans. With the advancement of food science and biochemical technology, processed products derived from corn have expanded beyond their traditional role as agricultural feed materials. Corn has evolved into a crucial raw material supplying not only the food industry but also various other sectors.

Through wet milling, corn can be processed into corn starch, which can further extend into a vast range of industrial applications. These applications include food processing starch, industrial starch, maltodextrin, high fructose corn syrup, maltose syrup, glucose, food additives, feed additives, biodegradable plastics, corn alcohol, and many other industries, showcasing the limitless potential for corn-derived products.

Product Portfolio:

- Corn Starch
- Corn Gluten Meal
-Corn Bran
- Corn Germ
- Corn Steep Liquor
- Edible Alcohol (Food-Grade Alcohol)
