重大主題與利害關係人流程

 
Tairoun Industry places great emphasis on managing material sustainability topics, striving to establish a continuous improvement cycle to ensure that the company's sustainability performance aligns with international standards. To this end, we follow the GRI Guidelines and consider the characteristics of the food industry to develop our corporate sustainability issues. Material topics are integrated through stakeholder surveys and sustainability impact assessments, promoting further advancement in our sustainable development efforts.

Materiality and Stakeholder Engagement Process
主題鑑別
公司藉由多元管道與利害關係人溝通,彙整各界關注焦點,識別初步的重要議題,依實質性鑑別「對公司衝擊程度」及「衝擊可能性」兩軸線進行評估,據以分析重大性排序,並提出重大性議題分析圖,藉此檢視公司內外部永續現況,校準公司在永續管理上的策略及長期目標,推動各組織持續精進,為社會與公司創造共享價值。

利害關係人鑑別
利害關係人的鑑別方面,本公司重要利害關係人共有6大類,公司進行內部調查與分析,由各工作單位鑑別出主要的利害關係者,針對六個類別之利害關係人,依其關注之程度、重要性與影響力,分別列出相關之重大議題及溝通管道。

重大主題評估
根據歐盟永續發展報導準則草案,台榮產業將雙重重大性原則納入永續發展評估中。同時考量組織衝擊(外部層面,即組織的活動對全球的影響)及永續發展衝擊(內部層面,即永續發展議題對組織財務的影響)。
1.組織衝擊評估:評估每個議題對於經濟(營收)、環境及人群(人權)及利害相關人的影響程度。這一評估將幫助我們了解組織的活動如何影響社會與環境。
2.永續發展衝擊評估:評估每個議題對組織直接財務造成的影響。此評估將確保我們能有效管理與永續發展相關的財務風險。
3.重大主題定義:重大主題定義為在組織衝擊及永續發展衝擊評估中同時達到2.9分以上的議題。這意味著這些主題對於台榮產業的營運及其周邊環境皆具重要影響。
根據以上的評估,台榮產業在2024年的ESG重大主題共計18項,其中包括9項正面主題及9項負面主題。這些主題將指導我們未來的策略與行動,確保我們能在持續推動業務增長的同時,積極履行社會責任並支持可持續發展。

重大主題完整性(台榮產業企業永續治理架構)
台榮產業董事會下設立企業永續委員會,作為推動永續治理的決策中心。總經理擔任企業永續推行委員會主任委員,負責審核及核准ESG年度計畫,並督導ESG執行成效。推行委員會每半年向永續委員會及董事會報告進展情況。
Topic Identification and Stakeholder Identification
The company communicates with stakeholders through various channels to consolidate the concerns of different parties and identify preliminary important issues. It evaluates these issues based on the axes of "impact level on the company" and "likelihood of impact," using materiality assessment to analyze the significance ranking. This leads to the creation of a materiality topic analysis chart, which helps review the company's internal and external sustainability status, calibrate the company's sustainability management strategies and long-term goals, and promote continuous improvement across all organizations to create shared value for both society and the company.
In terms of stakeholder identification, the company recognizes six major categories of important stakeholders. An internal investigation and analysis were conducted to identify the main stakeholders from various work units. For each of the six stakeholder categories, relevant material topics and communication channels are listed based on their level of concern, importance, and influence.

Material Topic Assessment
According to the draft of the European Union's sustainability reporting guidelines, Tairoun Industries incorporates the principle of double materiality into its sustainability assessment. This approach considers both organizational impact (external aspects, meaning the impact of the organization's activities on the world) and sustainability impact (internal aspects, meaning the effect of sustainability issues on the organization’s financials).
1.Organizational Impact Assessment: This evaluates the extent of each topic's impact on the economy (revenue), the environment, and people (human rights), as well as stakeholders. This assessment helps us understand how the organization’s activities affect society and the environment.
2.Sustainability Impact Assessment: This assesses the direct financial impact of each topic on the organization. This evaluation ensures that we can effectively manage financial risks related to sustainability.
3.Definition of Material Topics: Material topics are defined as those that achieve a score of 2.9 or higher in both the organizational impact and sustainability impact assessments. This indicates that these topics significantly influence Tairoun Industries’ operations and its surrounding environment.
Based on the above assessments, Tairoun Industries has identified a total of 18 ESG material topics for 2024, including 9 positive topics and 9 negative topics. These topics will guide our future strategies and actions, ensuring that we can actively fulfill our social responsibilities while supporting sustainable development and continuing to drive business growth.

Completeness of Material Topics
Tairoun Industries has established a Corporate Sustainability Committee under its Board of Directors, serving as the decision-making center for promoting sustainability governance. The General Manager acts as the Chairperson of the Corporate Sustainability Implementation Committee, responsible for reviewing and approving the annual ESG plan and overseeing the effectiveness of ESG execution. This committee reports its progress to the Sustainability Committee and the Board of Directors every six months.
